There’s never really enogh time in one working day to get every done. You can scratch the surface of several jobs and do a bit of everything just to get the worst out of the way. This is ok for so long. You eventually get to the point where you’ve only done the minimum for weeks and the rest of it has snowballed up behind it and you end up with masses of stuff that may or may not have had work done on it and is therefore in an a terrifying state. So much better to tackle each job methodicially, piece by piece until complete and up to date. Taking on too many projects or trying to service too many new customers at the same time is often the killer for small businesses – not being able to focus on one important job at a time, they stretch themselves too far and fail.
